IDENTICAL PACKAGES MAILED FROM TWO DIFFERENT POST OFFICES
WITH DIFFERENT WEIGHTS AND PRICES.
ONCE AGAIN IT IS THE ROSELAND STATION AT FAULT.
MUCH OF THE PROBLEMS AT ROSELAND POST OFFICE STEM FROM THE FACT THAT THE SUPERVISORS GO TO THE CLERKS FOR ADVICE,
IN MOST CASES PROBLEMS ARE LEFT UNSOLVED AND OR BLAMED ON THE TEMPORARY HELP.
THE STATION MANAGER IS SLOW TO RESPOND TO PROBLEMS AND LIKE THE SUPERVISORS TAKE ADVICE FROM THE CLERKS.
THE LINES ARE LONG AND THE CLERK STATIONS ARE NEVER FULLY STAFFED.
THIS STATION NEEDS AN OVERHAUL FROM THE TOP DOWN.
AN INFORMED  EMPLOYEES IS A OXI-MORON WHEN IT COMES TO THE ROSELAND POST OFFICE AND THE USPS HELP LINE. YOU WILL HAVE TO
HIKE THROUGH MILES AND MILES OF IDIOTS TO FIND ONE COHERENT THINKER.
IF YOU ARE IN THE 60628 ZIP CODE, THEY ARE SCREWING YOU AROUND TOO. ONE WAY OR ANOTHER.

March 26th I take four electronic delivery confirmation
labeled packages to the Roseland Post Office.

The clerk agreed to scan the labels but refused to give
me a receipt. i asked why not and she said. The station
manager Sherman Jones told her not to give me a
receipt.  I showed her the print out from the USPS
Internet site that showed her in black and white.

A mailing receipt for the Delivery Confirmation
service is available from a window clerk at Post
Office™ facilities
at the time of mailing.

She tells me, she can't go by what i say. Mr Jones is her
boss and he told her not to give me a receipt. So
instead of a receipt She hands me a piece of paper
with the station managers phone number on it.

I told her she could find the information on the Internet  
at the USPS help site, and she told me she did not
know nothing about the Internet and she was just doing
what her boss had told her.

What time do you get your mail?
We get our mail somewhere around 9:00 P.M.
And guess who leaves your gate open?
I set up my video camera and what did I see?
The mail lady opened my gate, delivered my mail, walked out of my
gate and left it opened.
Another day,  or I should say another night, I pulled up in my car as
the another mail lady opened my gate, delivered my mail, walked out of my gate and left it opened.
How many times do you have to re-deliver mail because
the mail person has put someone elses mail in your box?
Sometimes, I'm lucky, because I only have to go next door, or on the same block, or a block away, and sometimes I have to get in
my car and drive the mail to the correct person.
HELP!
But what happens if I complain?  The mail carriers will break my windows or maybe not deliver my mail at all.
Or better yet, the Roseland P.O. might get closed down altogether
and we will not have a Post Office at all.

Something has to be done about Roseland Station. With our help we can make Roseland Station the gem of the Midwest by  calling in and
complaining about every thing they do that interferes with the service you expect of the post office. From common courtesy to knowledgeable
employees. Demand that these " public servants do their jobs.  Don't let up, don't give up, don't put it in the hands of the lord.  

THESE ARE PUBLIC SERVANTS AND THEY NEED TO UNDERSTAND THAT, IN NO UNCERTAIN TERMS

A servant needs to understand that as long as you work for somebody, you will always have somebody telling you what to do.  You will always
have rules you have to follow and you can always be replaced.

Don't argue with the Servant, Don't waste time telling his Overseer.  You communicate with his Master.

ENOUGH OF THE DISRESPECT
On the previous page you saw an example of the normal stages of a electronic rate delivery confirmation label.
The labels above was scanned at the Roseland station post office, the same day within a hour of each other. Instead of seeing accepted it is
scanned in as delivered.
No further records of these labels will be recorded. These packages are lost with no way of finding out if the addressee ever received it.  
You would be hard pressed to get a insurance settlement on a lost package that the post office has confirmed as delivered.
These people are costing me money and they can't understand why I need a receipt when I leave something there.  The fact is, they
don't have to understand,  Its not their job to understand but it is their job to follow the rules and the rules say the clerk is suppose to give
me a  receipt of service at the window. Thats their law not mine........... it's a damn good law and they're going to obey it.
I know that there is a ring of truth in the above statement based on something I recently experienced.

A day or so after I begin my complaints about the clerks not scanning my mail into the system,  My letter carrier knocked on my door and ask
to speak with me.
She told me that her supervisor  told her that they had gotten complaints about her from me. She wanted to know what was wrong. I was
shocked....I wondered " why would they bring a issue of my complaint to the letter carrier when my complaint was about the service at the
station.
That is when I realized that they were trying to create conflict between the letter carrier and me.
The mentality of these people running the Roseland station is sickening. Everything that goes wrong can be traced back to the incompetent  
management of that station. Management will tell you it all the fault of the temporary help or the regular carrier is sick or on vacation.  Any old
lie to get you out of their faces,
They are the masters of passing the buck.

Some days, the mail arrives at Donald Lawson's home in
Beverly as late as 11:30 at night. His mailman shows up
wearing a lighted helmet. That's on the days when
Lawson's mail shows up at all.............
